Daily Bible Study

We believe that the principles of our faith should be integrated into all aspects of our students' day here at SWCS.  Christian principles are not only threaded through every component of our curriculum, but we also believe it is crucial for our students to study God's Word in-depth each and every day.  Our teachers use their choice of either the
A Beka Bible curriculum or the Biblical Choices Bible curriculum to instruct their students.

Please find out more information about both of these curriculums by clicking the links below.

Biblical Choices Bible Curriculum

(Middle School)

Weekly Chapel

Each Friday morning at 8:45 am, we gather together as a school for our weekly chapel program.  Our chapel programs vary throughout the year with different class presentations and guest speakers.  It is a wonderful time for parents and family members to join our students in fellowship each week.  We also take time each Friday to recognize a "Student of the Week" from each class to honor them for doing something special during the school week.

We kick-off each month with a wonderful themed-based message that will inspire the students, parents, and faculty in attendance.  Students also have the opportunity to participate in a monthly writing contest where the prompt is based on the monthly theme.

House of Prayer (Weekly)

House of Prayer is held once a week in chapel for families, students, teachers, and staff to pray individually or as a group for the needs of the school and those in our school family.

Bible Bowl (grades 3-8)

The Annual San Diego County Bible Bowl is a wonderful event available to students from grades 3rd through 8th  Students are asked to study one book of the Bible in-depth in preparation for this spring event.  Students compete in team buzzer rounds and individual written tests.  Students have the opportunity to win trophies, medals, camp scholarships, and college scholarships based on both their team and individual performances.
